Fabric Patterns and Styles
The Pattern and Design Styles of the fabrics you choose are like the paints on a blank canvas. Two people can use the same pattern and the results will be completely different because of the fabrics they choose.
There are different ways that quilters use to choose the Patterns and Styles for their quilts. They can use colors that coordinate with the room they will be using it in. They might choose their favorite colors. Or, they may see a quilt in a magazine and like the patterns that are used and decide to duplicate them.
Some quilters seem to use some of the same patterns and styles in all of their quilts. Some may love to use Batiks in their quilts while others seem to always choose Florals. Some quilters like to use Reproduction Fabrics while others choose to use Novelty Fabrics.
