Jelly Roll Fabric Strips

 

Instead of cutting your own strips of fabric and having to worry about making sure they are straight, you can buy fabric strips already cut for you.

These fabric strips come rolled up together and are called Jelly Rolls. There is usually 40 cotton fabric strips to a roll and they are cut from selvage to selvage.

The strips vary in width from 1 inch to 3 inches wide. The most common size being 2 1/2 inches wide.
