Chiffon Fabrics
Chiffon is a lightweight, plain-woven sheer fabric of alternate twisted crepe yarns. The twist puckers the fabric slightly which gives it stretch and a slight rough feel.
Chiffon is usually made from silk or nylon, although it can be made from cotton. It can be dyed to almost any color.

Chiffon is mostly used in evening apparel, mainly as an overlay which gives an elegant, floating appearance to the dress. It is also a popular fabric for use in blouses, ribbons, scarves and lingerie.
Due to the delicate nature of Chiffon, it must be hand-washed very gently.
