Linen Fabrics
Linen is a fabric made from flax and describes bed, bath and kitchen textiles.
Linen feels cool to the touch while being highly absorbent and a good conductor of heat. It is twice the strength of cotton. It is lint free and gets softer the more it is washed.

Folding and creasing Linen in the same place over and over will cause the Linen threads to break. This type of wear shows up in collars, hems and any other part that is iron pressed. It has poor elasticity which causes it to wrinkle easily.
Linen is an expensive fabric and is produced in small quatities. Linen has a natural luster and it's natural colors are ivory, ecru, tan and grey. Pure white Linen is created by heavy bleaching.
Linen is easy to take care of because it resists stains, lint and dirt and can be dry cleaned, machine washed and steamed.
